What is a recovery phrase?

A recovery phrase is a human-readable backup of your private keys. It can restore access to your crypto assets if your device is lost or damaged. Store it offline and never share it.

Does Ledger store my crypto?

Your crypto assets exist on their respective blockchains, not inside the device. Your Ledger signer keeps your private keys offline and lets you approve transactions.

Where should I download Ledger Wallet?

Always download Ledger Wallet (Ledger Live) through Ledger’s official website or your device’s official app store listing. Be cautious of sponsored search results and unsolicited links.
